What Ranks can play together in VALORANT?
Riot Games have instituted some limits to ranked disparity for matchmaking in ranked games. Read on to see who you can play with, and what is the highest and lowest rank you can see in your competitive lobbies.

What ranks can queue together in Valorant?
Limitations to which ranks you can play with in the same lobby during ranked play in Valorant are only applicable to solos, duos and three man parties. Riot Games instituted this limits to protect competitive integrity and attempt to create fair and balanced matches for all players in a certain lobby.
As of Episode 7: ACT 2 the following ranked queue limitations are present:

| Platinum, Diamond, Ascendant, Immortal and Radiant | Only 1 Tier Higher in Rank |
However, If you are playing with four other friends, the rank limitations will not apply to you, but there will be a handicap to how much points can be earned depending on each player’s rank.
All parties that have a large disparity in rank receive a 25% RR reduction in points earned. Radiant players in a full 5-man party with anyone not Radiant will receive a 90% RR reduction. The players in the group that are below Radiant receive 75% RR reduction.
Remember, you can only queue as 1, 2 or 3-man squads or a full squad. 4-man parties are not allowed. Furthermore, 3-man rosters are disabled after the Immortal rank.

Yes, Bronze players can play with Gold players with no penalties in Valorant Ranked Play.
Can Gold play with Diamond in Valorant?
No, Gold players cannot play with Diamond in Valorant, unless you are part of a 5-man team where Rank limitations don’t apply.
Can you skip ranks In Valorant?
Absolutely – and this is made possible by the nature of the system attempting to determine your true MMR. If you play exceptionally well in your early placement fixtures, you’ll skip several ranks straight off the bat. There’s even a chance that you’ll be boosted straight up to Gold or even Platinum, provided you play well enough.
Can Plat play with Diamond in Valorant?
Platinum players can play with Diamond players only within one full rank tier disparity. This means Platinum 1 can match with players up till Diamond 1.
Can Bronze 3 play with Gold 1 in Valorant?
No, Bronze players can only play with ranks up to Silver in Valorant ranked play. These limits don’t apply if you are part of a 5-man party.
Can Silver play with Platinum in Valorant?
No, Silver players can only play with ranks up to Gold in Valorant ranked play. These limits don’t apply if you are part of a 5-man party.
Can Iron play with Silver in Valorant?
Yes, Iron players can match with both Bronze and Silver players in Valorant ranked games.
