Fortnite prodigy Benjyfishy dives into Valorant with Team Heretics
Team Heretics, a prominent name in the Valorant esports scene, has recently made a thrilling announcement.
They have enlisted the services of Benjy “benjyfishy” Fish, a highly esteemed player who has left a significant imprint in the Fortnite community. This strategic acquisition comes as Team Heretics gears up for the much-anticipated VCT EMEA Last Chance Qualifier tournament.
Benjyfishy, a British Fortnite player, has been turning heads since 2018 with his exceptional gaming skills. His prowess in Fortnite led to his signing with NRG Esports in 2019, solidifying his position among the world’s best Fortnite players. However, in 2022, benjyfishy decided to venture into new territories and transitioned to Valorant.
His debut on the Valorant Tier 1 competitive scene will be on July 19, 2023, at LCQ EMEA 2023.
Initially, benjyfishy joined NRG as a content creator for their Valorant team. However, his passion for competitive play soon led him to make the audacious decision to pursue a professional career in the game. In December of the same year, he parted ways with NRG and joined Enterprise Esports for the Challengers East: Surge tournament. His performance throughout the competition was instrumental in his team’s qualification for the VCT EMEA Ascension Play-In tournament.
Despite facing challenges in the VCT EMEA and finishing in eighth place, Team Heretics remains resolute in their quest to bolster their lineup for future tournaments. Recognizing benjyfishy’s exceptional talent, dedication, and potential to significantly impact the team’s performance, they have successfully onboarded him.
