Breeze is making a grand return to VALORANT with a series of significant modifications. Alongside Breeze’s re-entry, two other maps will bid adieu, hinting at the possible introduction of a brand-new map.
The alterations unveiled for Breeze are profound, promising to reshape the gameplay strategies. Notable changes include comprehensive revamps of the Mid, B site, A Hall, A Shop, and Cave. The Mid section has been notably shrunk, eliminating the option for players to navigate around the central pillar’s sides. A fresh Mid cubby has been introduced adjacent to the pillar, blocking the defender’s side but granting attackers a vantage point to oversee the top of Mid and Nest.
The pathways leading to the A site have also undergone significant modifications. The A Cave is now inaccessible, leaving the redesigned A Shop as the sole entry point. The A Hall has been sealed; however, attackers can utilize the ropes to descend through the Chute, though they can’t access the A site from the Hall.
Engagements between attackers and defenders through the A Hall remain possible. Both the B site and the Mid Wood doors have witnessed considerable changes, with the A site seeing minor tweaks.
The rotation will see Breeze re-entering the map pool, while both Pearl and Fracture will be phased out. This rotation hints at the unveiling of a new map in the near future, which is speculated to have a sunny and warm ambiance. These map pool shifts are scheduled to be implemented with the commencement of VALORANT Episode Seven, Act Two, anticipated to kick off on August 29.
