How to Make the Most out of Fortnite Reboot Rally 2023
If you’ve lapsed a little bit playing Fortnite this season, you might not be alone. With a summer of huge releases and a bit of a lacklustre season for the game, there are quite a few players who haven’t dropped into the island in quite a while. Epic’s doing something about that though, bringing back the Fortnite Reboot Rally!
The reboot rally 2023 is the latest version of Epic’s occasional event. These are promotional periods that Epic runs from time to time trying to lure lapsed players back into the game, at least for a few games! Across Fortnite, all seasons have had ups and downs. The Fortnite Reboot Rally is a great chance to get players back involved after one of those quieter periods. How do you get the most out of the Reboot Rally 2023 though?

Fortnite Reboot Rally 2023
The Reboot Rally is a mini-event in-game that Epic holds to give you some incentives to get your friends back into Fortnite. If you have a friend who hasn’t played in a few weeks, you’ll both be able to earn free Fortnite cosmetics by convincing them to try the Battle Royale out once again.
How it works is simple. If another player hasn’t played Fortnite in a while (or is a new player) then they can jump back in and complete special quests. Party up with them and you’ll both be able to complete quests and earn rewards for getting back into Fortnite.
Eligible players are those who are brand new or who have played less than 2 hours of Fortnite in the 30 days going up to July 31st 2023.
If you’re eligible or have a friend that’s eligible, all you need to do is party up with the returning member. You’ll then get access to special quests in-game, called the Reboot Rally 2023 quests. As you complete these, you’ll both unlock exclusive cosmetics. This isn’t where the most exciting skins from Fortnite leaks end up, but it’s always good to collect a few more free cosmetics.
While in a game together, you can complete the Fortnite Reboot Rally Quests and Bonus Goals to get access to the cosmetics. You’ll earn points from these quests which you can redeem for the rewards. You’ll also get extra XP which is great if you’re still getting through the Battle Pass.
Rewards
These are the rewards you can redeem from the Fortnite Reboot Rally 2023:
- Boot It Spray – 50 Points
- Polychrome Sunset Wrap – 100 Points
- Beach-Blasted Shark’s Tank Back Bling – 150 Points
- Starfall Pickaxe – 200 Points
There isn’t a free skin, but it’s never bad to get some extra pickaxes and back blings for free!
How Long Do You Have?
That’s how the whole Fortnite Reboot Rally works this season, but how long do you have to finish it off? It’s running from August 1st through to August 26th. When the Fortnite Season ends we’ll get new rewards for a fresh season too, but that’s how long you have for the Reboot Rally this time around. These are typically pretty small quests, similar to the daily quests, so it shouldn’t take too long to get everything!
