Fortnite X Elder Scrolls

An upcoming collaboration with one of the biggest franchises in gaming has hit the game. A skin taking inspiration from Elder Scrolls Online is due to come to the game along with some backblings. What’s more, there’s even something coming for free.

According to the initial leaks, the Fortnite skin ties in with a release on the Epic Games Store. Other crossovers have been bundled this way in the past, with some even becoming some of the best Fortnite outfits that way. The new skin for Fortnite X Elder Scrolls is supposed to be debuting as part of a wider crossover, but so far Epic has only confirmed the backbling. It’s all to celebrate the game bringing Elder Scrolls Online to the Epic Games Store.

Now the game is on the Epic Games Store, players can purchase it to get a free item in Fortnite. You’ll get the Sigil of the Alliance back bling when you buy the game on the launcher.

Is There Anything Else in the Scrolls Crossover?

The Fortnite X Elder Scrolls leaks so far show that we’re expecting a skin (which leaked in full) along with this back bling. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been officially announced yet. What about in-game items or other fun elements to a crossover though? They don’t look as likely.

It seems like the entire crossover is going to be limited to the skin. Players will have a week to redeem it along with a new free game. However, there likely won’t be items in-game or anything else too big in the item shop. The crossover also looks limited to Elder Scrolls Online, so Fortnite’s metaverse is one place Skyrim won’t end up.

When is the Fortnite X Elder Scrolls Skin Coming?

The original leak for the Fortnite X Elder Scrolls crossover came from players finding official materials from Epic. It included a full skin, which was initially thought to be free with the game. However, we now know it’s just a back bling that comes for free. The skin itself is still a mystery, so this could end up in the store itself. It likely won’t be one of the Fortnite Battle Pass skins either.

According to data miners, it’s actually coming pretty quickly. This should be added over July 20-27! Until we reach the release date, you’ll have to take the skin leak with a grain of salt. It’s a fun idea though and the fully designed skin would definitely give a lot of reasons to trust the Fortnite X Elder Scrolls collab is actually coming, and sooner rather than later.
