FNCS Major 3 2023 Locks Duos in for Grand Finals

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has been a bit more controversial in its gameplay, but after a lot of changes and balances, we’ve finally reached a decent meta. For the FNCS Major 3 2023, it’s got a pretty interesting mix of items. The map might not be perfect for Fortnite esports still, but with heavy-hitting shotguns and plenty of unique items like thermal vision all over, it’s an exciting build for a competitive Fortnite Major. We’re already part way into Major 3 too.

The season’s lootpool has had its fair share of corrections as we’ve gone along. Heading into the Major, mobility is still in a bit of a weird spot. The Jungle biome has proven strange in competitive games. However, some of the shotguns introduced are definitely making for a more classic style of competitive Fortnite action. How will this effect gameplay at the final? These opening weeks have been a great chance to see that up close.

At the moment, we’re at the final week of gameplay for the third Fortnite Major 2023 has to offer. It’s the final week for players to secure their spot at the final through the normal weekly gameplay. We’ve already seen some teams take big leads. So who are the players who are dominating in this Season of Fortnite? This is what’s happened at the FNCS Major 3 2023 Week 3.

FNCS Major 3 2023 – Week 3

In the EU region, vic0try0na and Pinq have pushed ahead in the final week. They’re currently sat in the number 1 spot, continuing their strong performances in Chapter 4. Kami and Setty (another Duo dominating this Chapter) aren’t far behind though. In Week 3, they got 600 points and clinched second place. They claimed 5th in FNCS Major 2 2023, so this season is a chance to improve on that.

In the NA region, Week 3 has been dominated by Ajerss and Khanada. Just like the leading team in EU they’re sat on 625 points against 60 in spot 2, which is occupied by Bucke and Okis. Some big names are still placing a bit further down the top 5 though, like Cooper and Mero who round out a very close top batch at 585 points in 5th.
