FNCS Grand Finals Preview – Stage is Set for Final Round

The FNCS Grand Finals are nearly here. It has been a three-day event with the first two simply whittling the competition down to just the 50 best Duos for this final day. This is the culmination of the entire year’s Fortnite esports events. The winners here can truly claim to be the best for 2023. With the stage set and the participants now all locked in, what can we expect at the FNCS Global Championship’s big finale?

Looking at the first two days of the events and others we have a good idea of some of the top Duos to watch. The final day will be a single competition, with six different games being played. The rule set is pretty simple, you get points for placement and kills. The top-ranking Duos on an ongoing leaderboard will claim Victory for the FNCS Global Championship.

FNCS Grand Finals Preview

There are a few teams who will definitely be worth looking at for the FNCS Grand Finals. The easiest picks for a lot of players will likely be those who performed well on the FNCS Day 1. Acorn and Cold came in first for the very first day. They had a sizeable lead in the entire bracket, at 325 total points Being far and away the best teams in this early round, they’re definitely marked as stand-out players.

The next pair to keep an eye on will likely be Queasy and Veno. They came in second on the first day and grabbed a victory Royale in their very first game.

Looking outside of the FNCS Grand Finals themselves, we’ve got Kami and Setty. The pair pulled in at 5th in the first day but had a particularly impressive run getting here. Back in the FNCS Invitational for 2022, the pair took first place. As the last major Invitational LAN for Fortnite, this is one of the better tournaments to compare to this event. Although, the game has changed a lot over the last year with the move to Chapter 4.

One from Day 2 of the FNCS Global Championship is MrSavage and Vadeal. These two were the standouts from this second chance for players. This was in the lower bracket, so these expectations do have to be weighed against those from day one. However, their stronger run here is much more impressive.

Who Will Win?

Those are some of the top Duos to keep an eye on at the FNCS Grand Finals. It’s always difficult to know exactly who will be the best FN players in an event like this. We’ve already had quite a few surprises, the only way to know is to follow along with the FNCS Grand Finals tomorrow and see what happens.
