Everything We Know About Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4
Fortnite Chapter 4 is now very close to reaching its finale. While the new map may have only arrived a few seasons ago, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is due to launch very soon! Between some early leaks and clues from Epic, we have a good idea of what’s coming with Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. This is the climax for the current Chapter, and Epic has been making promises of the last half of 2023 being one of the biggest periods we’ve ever seen for the game.
As with new starts in all Fortnite seasons, some leaks have given us a pretty good idea of what to expect. There’s a fair bit of content which has already leaked for the new Season. Between this and how the seasons have been run so far, we have a strong idea of what we can look forward to with Fortnite C4 S4. So, what can we expect when the new Fortnite Season starts?

Everything We Know About Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4
Map Change
One area that Epic’s managed to keep under wraps so far is the new map addition. This is often the first thing to leak, but it’s been quiet this time around. What we can likely assume is that it’ll match the map changes we’ve had for the past three Chapters. Chapter 4 has seen new Biomes get added into the game rather than changes made across the whole map. It’s likely we’ll see this continue with Chapter 4.
Legendary Augments and Mechanics in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4
Augments were the main new feature for Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 4 is taking them a step further though. It looks like we’re getting Legendary Augments which are a higher tier of power that unlocks. There are three that leakers think are coming at launch. That’ll be Reboot, which gives you a respawn, shield increase, which lets you have a bigger shield bar and siphon. The final one uses the much-missed siphon mechanic that restores some health and shield upon getting an elim.
Other new mechanics that have been in the files for a while now are wall running, double jump, and jump slides. It’s unknown if these are coming with Fortnite C4 S4 though. Especially considering the mess that happened with Chapter 4’s main movement upgrade, hurdling.
Collabs
Collabs are always a big part of the new Fortnite season so what’s scheduled for Chapter 4 Season 4? Doctor Who was one of the big ones planned, with an event pass and multiple skins. However, this has now been delayed into January. This likely pushes it out of Chapter 4 Season 4. Instead, it seems we’re getting the Lego collab in November. It’s unknown if this will be part of this season or a big feature to launch Chapter 5 though.

Upcoming Weapons and Exotics
Once of the most exciting parts of any update is the new weapons. Epic has a habit of leaving these in the files for quite a while before release. While we don’t know for certain these are coming in Fortnite C4 S4, with the season after being a new Chapter it’s more likely that they’ll show up. These are the new weapons that have been found for Chapter 4 Season 4.

- Slug Projectile Shotgun
- Flare Shotgun (Different from Dragon’s Breath)
- Rift Pistol
- Gas Grenade Launcher
- Firefly Grenade Launcher
- Boogie Bomb Grenade Launcher
Fortnite C4 S4 Start and End Date
Those are some of the bigger features we’ve seen get announced for Fortnite chapter 4 Season 4. When can we expect it to actually hit the game though? According to Epic’s in-game timer, the date when the Fortnite season ends is August 25th. This means the new season will likely release on that date. The season will probably run through to November or December when a brand-new season and fresh Chapter for the game is due to start.
