Chapter 4 Season 4 Ending Closes One of Fortnite’s Best Ever Seasons

The Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 ending is nearly here! Everyone is really hyped for the upcoming season with the return of the old Fortnite map. What about our last gasp for FN C4 S4 though? While the finale was slightly overshadowed by what’s coming next, this has been a fantastic season of Fortnite. Between competitive and how the game itself actually plays, it’s arguably our highlight for Chapter 4.

While the Fortnite OG map coming back is exciting, maybe it’ll be helpful to look back at what’s made the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 ending such a bittersweet thing. While we might be getting an exciting new season, we’ll be losing one of the best versions of the game we’ve had in quite a while.

Chapter 4 Season 4 Ending – What Were the Highlights?

Chapter 4 Season 4 of Fortnite came in after a rougher period for the game. The season before was a bit of a lull with a disappointing summer event and some problems. Season 4 couldn’t have been more different though. The now predictable routine for map changes was thrown out for something more radical. We had enough new POIs to make the game feel alive again. Plus one of the best loot pools we’ve seen since Chapter 3 and before. On its release, Fortnite streamers were calling it the best start to a season Fortnite ever had.

Epic didn’t fall off either. We then got the FNCS Global Championship. While Fortnite esports aren’t for all players, this was a finale worth watching. It finished up an entire year of competitive Fortnite with fittingly high stakes. Watching players competing with one of the better loot pools only added to the excitement. Definitive proof that FN doesn’t always need a World Cup to have a huge esports event.

Past the FNCS, we then got Fortnitemares with its event and new crossover skins. The crossovers this season included two slightly more out of the box picks. We got Michael Myers, the slasher from a surprisingly adult franchise Halloween. Jack Skellington was a bit more family friendly, but as the first non-Marvel or Star Wars Disney character he was a surprising inclusion all the same. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 ending is coming soon, but it’s worth remembering that while we’re going back to nostalgia, the title has been firing on all cylinders for about 3 months straight now.

Getting the XP in Before Fortnite OG Map Returns

In the dying dates of the Chapter 4 Season 4 ending, a lot of the focus has been on the upcoming return of the Fortnite OG map. Players looking to complete the entire Pass pretty quickly have a few areas to focus on. The first is probably the Fortnitemares and Snapshots quests. Each of these will let you rack up a lot of XP, especially if you’re in Team Rumble purely doing quests Then we’ve got the Creative quests attached to all of these. These give bonus XP as you earn it in Creative. If you’ve not touched much of creative this season, you could easily gain 30 levels through these alone! Head into your favorite XP-generous map and rack up these bonus goals to get through the Battle Pass.
