Nouns Esports welcomes Hector “K1” Rodriguez as new carry
Hector “K1” Rodriguez, a prominent figure in the Dota 2 scene, has officially joined Nouns as their latest carry player, marking a significant shift in the team’s dynamics.
This announcement comes in the wake of a post-Bali Major 2023 roster shuffle, which saw the North American (NA) competitor powerhouse making strategic changes to their lineup.
K1 is renowned for his exceptional skills as a carry player, is making his first venture outside the South American (SA) region to compete in NA. This move follows his departure from Beastcoast, a team where he played a crucial role and whose exit marked the end of an era. K1’s willingness to relocate for competitive play was evident from his social media posts, where he announced his search for a new team.
Nouns’ previous carry player, Luke “Yamsun” Wang, will now be assuming the position 5 role, following the departure of the team’s support player, Jacob “Husky” Fifik. This roster change comes after the team’s 15-16th place finish at the Bali Major 2023.
With K1 Hector’s addition, Nouns aims to establish itself as a powerhouse in the NA region, standing alongside top teams like TSM and Shopify Rebellion.
