It’s a pleasant surprise to watch OGA Dota PIT Season 6 China if you aren’t a fan of renowned powerhouses winning every round. For starters, the two underdogs of the region, Team MagMa and Xtreme Gaming have successfully made it to the Grand Final. Meanwhile, established powerhouses that participated in the DPC CN Regional Finals last week, struggled for their tournament lives.
As the two teams collide today, one of them will earn their spot as the OGA PIT S6 Champion.
Team MagMa vs Xtreme Gaming
The two underdogs are no strangers to each other, having played in the same Division 2 bracket of Dota Pro Circuit 2021-22 (DPC2021-22) Tour 1. Both teams finished top seeds, earning themselves a promotion into Division 1 next Tour. After watching MagMa and Xtreme Gaming swept the floor against PSG.LGD and EHOME respectively, these are worthy teams to watch next season.
In the Upper Bracket final match, Xtreme Gaming came out on top 2-1 in a relatively fast series. MagMa then had to contest versus Aster in the lower final and ultimately re-earn their spot in the Grand Final. The grueling series ended with a 60minute game in which MagMa finally broke Aster’s defence and broke into the Grand Final. This will be the first time they are in a Final at any large event.
Between the two, Xtreme seemingly has the leverage in both drafting and execution. Plausibly because Xtreme is the more seasoned squad by its high-profile players, such as Zhang “Paparazi灬” Chengjun, Ren “old eLeVeN” Yangwei, and Ding “Dy” Cong. The remnants of Vici Gaming are highly regarded for their synergy, but particularly, Paparazi is the golden boy fuelling Xtreme’s victories.
MagMa, on the other hand, might have gotten lucky in their last encounter versus DPC CN Regional Final winners, due to the new Dota 2 Patch 7.31 release. PSG.LGD had questionable drafts, which included unusual picks, such as Clinkx, Treant Protector, and even Techies. Nevertheless, MagMa did the right call to play the safer strategy of late-game heroes, such as Medusa and Terrorblade.
The Dota 2 odds are in favor of Xtreme Gaming at x1.3, as the more seasoned of the two, versus Team MagMa at x3.4 returns. I would chose a over 4.5 total maps as the best possible market in the final. Both teams seem motivated to play and x2.73 returns it seems like the ideal pick.
The OGA Dota PIT Season 6 China is certainly thrilling, thanks to the participation of prominent teams. However, the recent Dota 2 Patch 7.31 has redefined the meta, which even pros have a difficult time contemplating whether Techies is viable. Proceed with caution when having a dip at Dota 2 betting in OGA Dota PIT Season 6 China. Consider checking out exclusive odds for all matches available on GG.BET as well.
